The TH-700-R4 transmission will downshift from 4th to 3rd gear anytime there is more than half throttle This Kickdown Kit prevents a forced part throttle kickdown and allows cruising at higher speeds in overdrive. The transmission will only kick down from 4th to 3rd at 3/4 throttle.
