Tech Notes
A starter that is capable of at least 160 RPM of cranking speed is required for this magneto to generate enough ignition output to start the engine. Always use a bronze distributor gear with steel billet or roller camshafts.
Description
The SprintMag II has all the features of the SprintMag Magneto Ignition System like putting out 2.3 amps from the generator and 28-30 milliamps of spark plug current, and incorporating the cam and breaker point assemblies. It also includes improvements that were implemented in response to the racer's need to take advantage of the positive locking screw down distributor caps.
