Description
Featuring a CNC machined billet 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum housing and a precision machined centerless ground shaft with a 4 micron finish rides in extra long permanently oiled sintered bronze bushings for high speed stability and endurance, the BilletProof distributors are equipped with a self-contained high output, surface mount, electronic control module, a precision machined reluctor and a magnetic pickup for the most dependable magnetic breakerless performance distributor available. While a performance advance curve is dialed in and tested at the factory, the BilletProof distributors have an easy to adjust mechanical advance mechanism. The adjustable advance allows you to easily and accurately custom tailor an ignition curve to specifically match your engine's needs. The adjustment range is from 0-28� crank, in 1� increments. All the BilletProof distributors feature an adjustable vacuum advance that allows you to tune your engine for optimal fuel economy. If you prefer running mechanical advance only, each distributor also comes with a vacuum advance lockout insert which allows you to remove the vacuum advance canister. All this is topped off with ACCEL's legendary tan Alkyd distributor cap and balanced rotor with brass inserts.
