Pacesetter 70-1138 1� Inch Mild Steel Header

This is not the first header I've installed on a vehicle, however it will be the last PaceSetter product. Please note that the manufacturer does NOT provide header bolts with their product (about the only thing they are correct about in the product description). The specs on the manufacturer website state this is a 2 � inch collector. It is somewhere between 2 and 2 � OD on the pipe connecting the header to the rest of the exhaust system. The black version does not come with a high temp paint (oops, my bad for assuming) and the manufacturer claims it should have come with a sticker stating such, no such luck. They run the connector pipe under the trans and use compression springs to attach it to the actual header. You will need to buy different bolts for this as the ones supplied are about one-quarter to one-half inch too short. You will also need to extend the wiring on your O2 sensor because they put the boss for it on the wrong side of the header (O2 boss on Header is on the front side, the stock manifold has the O2 boss on the rearward side of the manifold). Overall this product gets a mediocre rating. I must admit that the instructions weren't bad, but could have been better.
