Installation

An exclusive feature is the capability of reading O.E. ECU Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC). Users can scroll through the codes to evaluate any trouble indicators. This helps monitor the vehicle's performance and enables the user to tune the engine to exact specifications.

First I had the Hypertech power programmer III. With a stock vehicle, I didn't notice much, so I sold it. I just installed the Superchips yesterday 11-19-06. I definitely noticed a difference, but I have to tell you before I installed it, I put in a AEM cold air kit, JBA headers and a Dynomax ultra flow exhaust. But I did a test. I drove my truck before I installed the chip and after, and my modifications performed better with the Superchips. So I guess what I'm saying is these computer chips perform better and give more power gains if you install other mods to your vehicle. Hope this helps...Good Luck!!!
