Description
If you fear getting sucking water through your air intake (which can cause damage to your engine), or want to make sure your not losing power due to a dusty or muddy filer, or you want to extend the servicing of your reusable filter, than Volant has the answer for you! The Volant pre-filter is made from the same polyester material used in racing prefilters, however, they are treated with a proprietary hydrophobic process. Moreover, the material will allow plenty of air flow through its uniform micron openings, but will still filter out particles 0.005in or larger.

A nice product, and a perfect fit, it doesnt look like it will fit, but it does. Quick and easy install, and keeps the big stuff off of the filter. If you have a Volant CAI with a scoop such as I do on my 02 Tahoe, this is a must to keep water from soaking it and bugs from clogging it up. Be sure to clean your filter before installation.
