I already have one of these on a 2007 Ford Fusion SEL with the 3.0 Litre V-6. I like the product and I was thinking about ordering one for my 1997 T 100 Toyota 4X4, 3.4 Litre Engine. I really would have given it a 5 Star Rating if it were not all plastic. Other FINE Cold Air Intake Systems from some other Companies offer Beautiful Polished Billet Aluminun Collar for your Mass Air Flow Sensor and the large semi-box around the filter is Stainless Steel, keeping out hot engine air, keeping the ambient air temperature 8 to 10 degrees cooler year round. This is very important in the summer when it is hot. The K&N allows warm engine heat to enter into the MUCH SMALLER AIR FILTER ELEMENT WHERE THE OTHER MANUFACTURERS Air Filter Element is twice or even three times the size and the Prep Kit is about the same price. This other BUILDER-MANUFACTURERS Product is almost the same price but triple the quality and look. If they made one for my T 100 Toyota, I would put one on in a heartbeat. However since K&N is the one and only choice I have, it will be worth the performance and gas mileage that it will deliver. So, come on K&N, Step up the Quality and lose the PLASTIC and make a block area that will keep the hot air away from the filter element !!!! I am going to sell the K&N I have on my Ford Fusion to get the other GREAT ONE, now that I see they are making it for that Model.

I really can't be all too accurate as I installed this new intake at the same time I removed my muffler. There is a definite increase in power and throttle response. How much of it is a result of the intake? I have no idea. What I can honestly say is that it was a very quick and painless install, but only after I broke down and followed the simple written instructions. Perfect for someone that doesn't know what they're doing, and or someone that thinks they know what they are doing. I would have liked a bigger K&N sticker, but 5 Stars anyway
