Easy Install, Noticeable Improvement

This was installed on a 96 Dodge Dakota 3.9L in less than 1/2 hour using 3 hand tools. It couldnt have been easier. Minor cutting down of the stock vent hose was necessary. Removal of the intake tube cleared a lot of room in the engine compartment. Noticeably more stable gearing up on hills, with less power loss and more control. Looks great, the K& N logo lined up prefectly straight.

I bought this product a few days ago and i noticed the power difference. My split dual exhaust sounded great and it made my engine run really smooth!! the best a money can buy for your truck especially if it's older and has quite a few miles on it. But one Now!! you won't regret it

the system was very easy to set up and only took a few minutes. i noticed that there was quite a difference in power especially at full throttle. it pulls hard. unfortuently i didn't find the fuel mileage increasing as much as i had hoped although it did improve a little bit. i am satisified with what i got for the price and it looks good.

Greatly improved acceleration and made my dual exhaust noticeably louder (not a lot louder, just noticeable). We shall wait and see how much better the gas mileage is, was 19-20 on State Highways with the dual exhaust...

I have a 96' Dakota extended cab 4x4 w/ 318/5.2L V8. Before the kit I would get 180 miles from plum full to the empty line. Now driving like a mad man I get 250 miles, thats an extra 3.5 mpg. I can't wait to finish this tank to find out what kind of mpg I get when driving normal.

I'm very pleased with the performance this kit provides. There's no contest when it comes to out-performing the stock intake. It's a relief to know I can hear the engine breath for a change, so all in all the installation I got was great and I wouldn't think of using any other system but K&N.

I was pleased with the performance the K&N air cleaner gave my truck. I had never done modifications to any vehicles of any kind, but the kit was so easy to install. And I was amazed at the throtle response and the gas mileage it gave me and my truck. I have to say, K&N out did themselves this time with this wonderful product. I think this is a good buy for the beginer tuner to the seasoned veteren of vehicle modifications, you'll be pleased with the results as much as I have been.
