Early and Late-Style Catalytic Converters: To determine which catalytic-converter your vehicle is equipped with, look at the joining flange between the Y-pipe and the catalytic converter. If the flange is behind the transmission crossmember, it is an early style. If the flange is in front of the crossmember, it is a late-style.

Banks OttoMind: When ordering a system with a Banks OttoMind, it is necessary to determine your vehicles calibration code. The calibration code can be found on a sticker affixed to the ECU housing. The calibration code will be a 4-digit code with 3 letters and a number (such as NVK6). To identify the code on your vehicle, first look for a tag on the forward end of the driver's door. If the tag is not present or is illegible, remove the black plastic box covering the computer, located under the dash to the left of the drivers feet.
