This is an extemely good cold air intake. The quality compared to other CAI is unmatched. Unfortunatly this was the last mod to my engine so I felt a slight gain in hp. I have Pacesetter long tube headers, 3 Magnaflow true dual exhaust, corvette servo,MSD wires, custom PCM tune,electric cooling fans. Now with the ram-air scoop the hp gains are more noticable. Instructions were very vague but for the mechanically inclined it goes on in 30 minutes.

Installed in less than 30 minutes with the Volant RAM Air Scoop. I noticed an immediate gain in response. Much better than the K&N that was previously installed.
I have not had it DYNOd, so I dont know the exact HP gains, but it is noticeable.
I dont know about fuel gains yet, but the guage doesnt seem to be going down as fast. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased the Volant Cool Air Intake system for my 2002 Silverado w/4.8 V8. The quality of this system was excellent and the install was no problem at all. Everything fit snug and every bolt lined up perfectly with great clearance of the fan shroud. Some models require trimming the fan shroud so that the pipe coming from the throttle body will clear. That is not the case with this set-up. It actually looks better than the stock filter box. The throttle response was very noticable. I havent got to check the mileage yet because I like to hear the sound of it when I step on the gas. I think it is money well spent. I would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this Volant air intake for my 2000 GMC Sierra...the product is great and I have seen a boost in performance and gas mileage...the only downfall is crappy instructions but if you have some experience with cars you can figure it out.

Ordered this product at a great price! Item received in perfect condition. Installed in 2 hours. The directions are horrible - I am not very familiar under the hood and was still able to figure it out though. Noticeable difference in throttle response and sounds great! Not sure on MPG saving as Ive been on the pedal pretty hard. Also looks great! I recommend this product (having said that, Ive only driven about 150 miles with it so far). Oh... you cannot install a TBS with this product unless you shave your fan shroud. I did not know this when I ordered and also ordered a TBS which I have to return.

Extremely easy instilation prob added around 10 horsepower lowered my rpms by prob 1 or 2 hundred have not been able to figure out in mpg gains. Overall great product.

The volant air intake worked great on my 2003 Sierra 5.3 engine. Instructiions were decent.Expect about twice as long as the book. The mass air flow sensor adapter holes did not line up with my M.A.F. so I just used two of them. Overall I am satisfied. Definetly get the scoop!

Works great with scoop. Noticible gains and sounds great. A little louder during medium acceleration. Install was straight forward. OEM rubber grommet on throttle body side of intake tube is a tight fit.
