Fitment was right on, install took about 30 minutes, no issues what so ever. Looks good under the hood, quiet unless you get on the gas hard, feels like I may have picked up a couple of ponys, definitely recommend.

I think this product was a good investment, I noticed an increase in fuel milage, and seat of the pants horse power. The only thing that didnt work right was the rubber grommet that attaches to the intake tube to the throttle body, with the hose clap tightened I can pull off the intake tube by hand.

Installation was very easy,it looks great under the hood. I would absolutly recomend this product. It has an awesome sound when you get in the throttle. Feels like you have a little more power, but sounds like you are unleashing a beast when you floor it. Even at part throttle it has a little bit of a growl. As far as everyday driving it sounds the same, it doesnt have an agrevating hiss or vaccum leak sound.

I purchased the Volant Air Intake Kit on Monday from PerformanceCenter.Com and received the product on Wednesday. Now that is fast service!! The intake is easy as 123 to install. Power is excellent once you hit about 2000 RPM and then it just keeps on performing with speed. I also added an air-dam scoop for that added cool air going into the intake. Ohh, I installed it on my 2005 Yukon XL and the vehicle just has great power. I cant wait to add an exhaust system to make it a complete power-horse. If youre thinking of an air intake kit, dont hesitate to get the Volant. You will notice the differnce.

SOUND IS NOT HORSEPOWER, VOLANTS PRODUCTS ARE JUNK
I HAVE A 04 TAHOE Z71 with 32,000 miles; I had an average of 13.5 to 14.5 MPG before the kit.
Now with the VOLANT COLD AIR INTAKE plus the RAM AIR SCOOP I HAVE A HORRIBLE 11.5 TO 12.5 MPG. VOLANTS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A DIRECT REPRESENTATION OF THEIR PRODUCT JUNK�
BOTTOM LINE PURCHASE AN INTAKE THAT POSTS A DYNO CHART FOR YOUR EXACT CAR OR TRUCK ON THEIR WEBSITE AND A GARUNTIEED PERFORMANCE. VOLANT HAS NEITHER!!

If you own a 2005 Yukon or Tahoe you have to get this product. I've been a loyal K&N man for the last 5 years and both my import and Expedition had the 77 series, it's a great product. The only issue I had w/ K&N was w/ the heat shield it doesn't manage the cold air as well as the closed-in box of Volant.When I bought my Yukon I wanted to see if this 2005 Best Selling Intake would live up to it's hype. Installation was easy and 45 minutes later, cuz I'm a check and double check kind of dude. I felt the diffrence instantly and even my wife can tell the diffrence in sound and performance, and she's not a car/truck dude at all.

The Good - Better throttle response (which I very rarely use, and therefore not worth the price), exactly as advertised. Completely different sound...deeper and stronger (I liked the quietness on the stock system better), exactly as listed in the reviews.
The BAD - Gas mileage went down 2.5 mpg. The manufactur doesn't respond to emails, nor do they return phone calls. In my opinion...their cutomer service is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
The Solution - I am taking it off and buying a K&N.

Just finished installing this unit and it fit perfect with absolutely no problem. Works great and you can feel the difference in the pulling power. Noticed immediately how freely my motor performed. I like it because it is enclosed in the box and not by the hood installation as the others. I highly recommend it. I would also like to say that I have ordered various other truck parts from Truck Performance and all of the items were top notch. Parts and the shipping of items have never been late or damaged. Highly recommend this unit.
